OMU; GreenMetric Continues Its Rise in International Rankings

Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) ranked 469th with a jump of 50 places internationally in the "2022 UI GreenMetric World University Rankings", where academic campuses are evaluated in terms of sustainability criteria.

1050 universities were evaluated this year

OMÜ, which carries out activities with the aim of becoming a green and environmentally friendly campus and increases its motivation day by day, has achieved a significant success by rising from 519th to 469th place with a 50-step increase in the "GreenMetric World University Rankings", where a total of 1050 universities were evaluated this year. .

Despite the increase in the number of universities, OMU maintained its place in the national rankings

OMU also maintained its place in 2021 with its 41st place in the 'national ranking' according to 2022 GreenMetric. In GreenMetric, where national participation was 71 in 2021, this number reached 83 in 2022.
